Update regarding service phasing out
At the end of March, we announced that C- and Q-support must phase out their services to patients this year. At that time, we indicated that we would provide more information at the end of May regarding what this specifically means.
At this moment, we cannot yet share information about this with certainty. An amendment proposal to the Spring Memorandum may be submitted to the House of Representatives in the short term. Such a proposal could affect whether and in what form we can continue our services. As a result, it is not yet clear what this means for how long we can provide support.
We understand that it can be difficult that there is no clarity at this moment. We expect to be able to provide more clarity regarding our services by the end of June.
For now, nothing changes for you. Patients and professionals can visit us as usual.

The Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS) has confirmed in the Spring Budget Memorandum that funding for aftercare will no longer be available after 2026. It had already been indicated previously that the subsidy would cease. The Ministry believes that patients should be helped within the regular healthcare system. We have warned VWS on multiple occasions that, in our opinion, the regular healthcare system is not yet sufficiently prepared to adequately support patients with post-COVID, Q fever, and long-term symptoms following COVID-19 vaccination. We have also made every effort to secure additional funding from VWS and other parties. Since funding for aftercare ends at the end of this year and no additional funding is available, we unfortunately have no other choice and must phase out our aftercare activities in 2026.
We realize that our aftercare is of great significance to many patients. It deeply saddens us to have to share this terrible news with you. We believe it is important to phase out our services as carefully as possible and to inform everyone about this correctly and in a timely manner. In the coming weeks, we will further elaborate on exactly what these changes entail.
At this moment, nothing changes for you yet. You can still contact us with your questions as usual. We expect to be able to provide more information at the end of May regarding how the phasing out of services will look. Together with partners such as patient organizations, we remain committed to doing as much as possible for you this year.
