C-support officially started on October 1st. Many people have found their way to us since then and conversations have been held with a number of them. Our aftercare and medical advisors share what they notice about the patients they have spoken to so far:
- There is a relatively young group of people aged 20 to 50;
- Among them are a number of healthcare providers;
- Virtually no one has been in hospital or the ICU as a result of corona;
- Not everyone has been tested for Covid-19, but it is the GP who indicates that this was the case;
- Almost all infections occurred in the first wave;
- The aftermath is intense and the impact on daily life is very great;
- Many people say they are happy to be able to tell their story.
