In February we recorded our findings with the first 1392 patients, in combination with interviews with patients, professionals and other aftercare initiatives. It gives a good impression of the problems of people with long-term complaints as a result of COVID, who all experienced the disease at home. It mainly gives a picture of the people from the first wave. What is striking is that many (56%) were not tested in that first wave due to a lack of testing capacity. A fact that is taking its toll now that they have been ill for almost a year or longer. They lack the burden of proof towards employers, occupational physicians, etc. That makes recognition of their complaints a lot more difficult. In addition to health, the problems mainly arise in the area of work. More than 2300 patients have now registered with us.
