We have created a new factsheet to explain what PEM is. This is because the vast majority of Long COVID patients, but also Q fever and ME/CFS patients suffer from PEM due to minimal physical, mental or cognitive exertion. Also, not all healthcare providers are aware of what PEM is and what it means for a patient.
The fact sheet (double-sided A4) can be viewed digitally. Then there are also some working links behind it. It can also be nice for the patient to print this out and take it to a healthcare provider, school, or other people around you, to inform them about PEM and your possible limitations as a patient.
