The aftercare advisor listens to your symptoms and any social and psychological difficulties you may be experiencing. For example, you might be tired, experience muscle pain, and headaches. This makes it difficult to rebuild your fitness and muscle strength. Or perhaps you forget a lot, experience stress, or are anxious. You might also feel lonely due to a lack of understanding in your environment, or because you can no longer participate in activities with family or friends. The aftercare advisor assesses what is needed to improve your health and advises you on healthcare providers who could support you with your symptoms. These could include an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, dietitian, speech therapist, and/or psychologist. If necessary, a consultation with one of our medical advisors will follow.
Work and Income
Are you absent from work for a long period due to illness? Are you trying to stay at work or reintegrate? Many people with long-term complaints experience or develop problems at work or within their own company. C-support provides information and advice and answers your questions. We also advise you on preparing for meetings with your employer or company doctor, for example, about your first-year review or your rights and obligations. Aftercare advisors are not involved in these meetings. Sometimes we consult an employment expert or employment lawyer on your behalf.
Are you experiencing a drop in income because you're working fewer hours? Seek timely advice. This will prevent you from (further) financial problems, or from developing other issues, such as stress, due to financial worries. C-support can help you find the right professionals who can help you.

The Work Guide offers help with questions about work
For example, about staying employed, finding work, or even leaving your job. You'll find information, tips, and tools specifically designed for people with infectious diseases. Also useful for people experiencing symptoms after a COVID-19 vaccination.
Children and young people
The aftercare advisor listens to the child or young person's complaints and their impact on their physical and mental health, as well as on their environment. The aftercare advisor assesses what is needed to improve the situation and consults with one of our medical advisors if necessary. The aftercare advisor provides information about finding appropriate care and support. Where necessary, we provide additional information to professionals such as the school, general practitioner, occupational therapist, or physiotherapist.
