Looking back at 2025
The year 2025 was a year in which the societal challenge remained significant, while circumstances changed. This called for choices regarding what we can do for patients and how we work towards the sustainable safeguarding of patient support and knowledge.
In the annual report, we highlight a number of topics:
- how we have put this into practice comprehensive aftercare, for patients with complex and often long-term care needs that span various domains;
- the development and application of a independent evaluation framework, which makes visible where care and support are still insufficiently aligned;
- the results of the patient satisfaction survey, in which patients appreciate our broad approach and at the same time show where appropriate care is not yet a matter of course;
- our commitment to knowledge sharing and research, whereby we translate practical experiences into concrete tools for healthcare professionals, the UWV, and municipalities, among others.
The year 2025 shows above all that patient support must not and cannot be an afterthought, and that this requires structural attention. Long-term complaints require time, coherence, and recognition.
