The Patient and Experience Experts Platform (PEP) of Q and C-support has been expanded. Three new members have recently joined:
- Emile Maassen, expert by experience in the field of Q fever
- Laxmi Mohan en Gerjan De Vries, both with complaints after a COVID-19 vaccination
In addition Yolan Koster-Dreese appointed as independent chairman of the platform.
The PEP is composed of people who themselves live with the consequences of Q fever, post-COVID or complaints after a COVID-19 vaccination and use this experience broadly. They advise the board, solicited and unsolicited, on policy, projects and activities of Q and C-support - always from the perspective of patients. In this way, they contribute to appropriate support and ensure that the voice of patients is heard.
The coming period will be an important phase in the development of the organization. With this reinforcement, the PEP is well equipped to consider the plans for the future of C- and Q-Support. In this way, we ensure that the experiences of the patients remain central in the making of policy.
