The PINCOR study examines the effect of personalized, integrated aftercare within a regional network for people with persistent complaints after COVID-19. Part of this study is an investigation into the effectiveness of a rehabilitation program. For this sub-study, patients are being sought who want to follow a rehabilitation program in Maastricht for 3 months.
What does participation entail?
A rehabilitation physician will determine whether you are eligible for a rehabilitation program aimed at reducing and learning to cope with the limitations resulting from Post-COVID. If you are eligible, you will be registered for outpatient day treatment at Adelante, location MUMC+. During 4 weeks, your complaints will be mapped out by physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychology and speech therapy. Based on this analysis, a personalized, tailor-made treatment is indicated. This normally lasts 9 weeks. In total, the program takes approximately 3 months. You will be rehabilitating at Maastricht UMC+ for approximately 3 half days a week.
Who can participate?
Patients with Post-COVID who experience major limitations in physical and mental functioning and want to work on better functioning through rehabilitation. An intake with the rehabilitation physician will ultimately determine whether participation is appropriate. Because the treatment takes place in Maastricht, patients from Limburg can participate.
