At the initiative of C-support and Long Alliance Netherlands, the Platform Knowledge Exchange COVID-19 Recovery and Aftercare established. This platform aims to be a connecting link between Dutch parties involved in post-COVID. A good connection leads to better knowledge exchange and thus to better care and treatment. In order to share knowledge and exchange experiences, meetings are regularly organized.
Knowledge post-COVID
During one of these meetings, the scientific landscape around post-COVID was central. Marloes Dankers (IVM) provided an explanation of the ZonMW assignment Knowledge inventory post-COVID and Anske van de Bom (LUMC and project leader PCNN) provided insight into the assignment and design of the Post-COVID Network Netherlands. Spreading basic knowledge about post-COVID among different target groups was also on the agenda. For inspiration, the participants split up to explore how the parties can contribute to spreading basic knowledge among four specific target groups: the general public, patients, healthcare professionals and the social domain (work and learning environment).
Knowledge dissemination
The knowledge, experiences and ideas gathered are valuable for the Knowledge Dissemination Platform of the Post-COVID Network Netherlands (PCNN), of which C-support is a co-leader. This platform is committed to sharing and actively disseminating knowledge about post-COVID. They can further study the results of this afternoon and see how this can be embedded in the structures. That is why the results of this meeting on April 8 were offered by Lidewij Sekhuis, project leader of the Knowledge Exchange Platform COVID-19 recovery and aftercare, to Maike ter Wolbeek, current project leader of the Knowledge Dissemination platform at C-support.
