Q- and C-support, together with Erasmus MC, have conducted multi-year studies in people with Q fever fatigue syndrome (QVS database research) and post-COVID (Multi-year Long COVID studyParticipants completed an annual questionnaire regarding the progression of their symptoms, the impact thereof on their lives, and their healthcare utilization. To provide them with insight into their own results, a Personal Overview (PO) has been developed. This year, we are offering all patients registered with us the opportunity to receive a Personal Overview and participate in the collection of data regarding their condition.
Personal overview (PO)
The Personal Overview (PO) is a summary of the results from the questionnaire. Graphs and tables provide insight into the progression of symptoms, their impact on daily life, and healthcare utilization. Many participants use the Personal Overview in conversations with healthcare providers, their employer, or the company doctor, or to explain to family, friends, or colleagues what is happening to them. The Personal Overview is highly appreciated by previous participants. For this reason, it was decided to offer a Personal Overview to all patients registered with Q- and C-support this year.
PO for all patient groups
A shortened questionnaire has been prepared for everyone aged 16 and over who has an open file with Q- and C-support and resides in the Netherlands. This questionnaire is for patients with post-COVID, long-term symptoms following COVID-19 vaccination, Q fever fatigue syndrome (QFS), and chronic Q fever.
After completing the questionnaire, the personal overview becomes available in Solvio, our secure online environment. With the participants' permission, the data may also be used for scientific research. This provides greater insight into the disease profile and allows for the optimization of care and support for patients.
In mid-August, all patient groups will receive an invitation to complete the questionnaire. You can find more information and frequently asked questions on this website.
