In the Netherlands, there are an estimated 450.000 people with post-COVID and 4.000 with Q fever fatigue syndrome. There is therefore a high probability that in your work you will encounter people with severe, long-term symptoms that limit their lives in various ways. The clinical picture differs from patient to patient and also fluctuates over time. For your work, it is beneficial to better understand what this disease entails and what it means for people. But also what the municipality can do for these people. By providing tailored care and listening carefully to patients, you can truly improve the quality of life and participation opportunities of these patients.
