The House of Representatives decided on February 15 to release 27 million euros for the establishment of post-COVID clinics. C-support is now receiving many questions about the arrival of these clinics.
The fact that the House has decided to release money for a pilot with post-COVID clinics is an important step. This will contribute to improving the care for post-COVID patients. Many patients are therefore looking forward to it with great anticipation. However, a lot still needs to happen before the clinics can open their doors. We do not expect that to be arranged within a few months.
First contours
At the end of February, there will be a working meeting with various parties involved. C-support will also be participating. The first contours of the clinics will be outlined there. And those contours will then have to be further elaborated. We cannot yet answer questions such as 'where will the clinics be located', 'what care will be provided', 'how many patients can be helped', 'can I also go there'?
As soon as more is known about the setup of the clinics, we will of course share that. Therefore, keep an eye on our website and socials.
