If you have reported sick, you and your employer must take steps to ensure that you can return to work. This is called reintegration. The rules that you and your employer must adhere to are set out in the Gatekeeper Improvement Act (Wet verbetering poortwachter). You are obliged to cooperate with your reintegration. Together with your employer, you are responsible for keeping your absence as short as possible and for expediting your reintegration.
