From 1 November, patients with post-COVID can be referred to the post-COVID expertise centres via their GP. These centres investigate new symptoms and exchange their knowledge with regional networks, making improved treatments available to patients more quickly.
Many people have questions about the post-covid expertise centers. That is why the NFU and UMCs have published a list with answers to frequently asked questions. This list of frequently asked questions is intended to provide people with post-COVID clarity on important topics.
Some of the questions that are answered are:
• How can I register for a post-COVID expertise center?
• Can children also register?
• When am I eligible for a referral?
• How is my reduced resilience taken into account?
• Which treatments are used in the centers of expertise?
The list of questions is updated regularly. If your question has not been answered, you can contact the NFU.
NB: from May 2025, questions will be answered via the expertise centres themselves. You can also go there for frequently asked questions, no longer via the NFU.
