What C-support does:
For patients
- We provide patients with information, advice, and support in managing their symptoms and the impact they have on their lives. We cover medical, social, and psychological issues, as well as questions about school, education, work, and income.
- We provide personalized advice tailored to a patient's individual situation.
- We advise on finding the right care and support within the regular range of services in your own living environment.
- Where necessary, we call upon expertise in the medical, occupational health or employment law fields.
- We provide recognition and acknowledgement and support patients in finding recognition from (healthcare) professionals and institutions.
For professionals
- We connect parties around patients for an integrated approach to the problem.
- We encourage collaboration and coordination between network partners.
- We offer (further) training on post-infectious diseases to professionals so that they can recognize and acknowledge complaints better and earlier.
- We encourage and advise on research into post-infectious diseases.
What C-support does not do:
Medical
- We do not provide treatments, diagnostics or referrals.
- We do not share (medical) information of patients with third parties without the patient's consent.
- We do not prepare medical reports.
- We do not make home visits and we do not accompany you to visits to healthcare providers.
- We do not provide reimbursements that allow patients to purchase care themselves.
Work and Income
- We do not provide financial or administrative support.
- We do not act on behalf of the patient in objection procedures and do not provide assistance in drafting objection letters.
- Our labor expert or labor lawyer does not accompany you to visits to third parties.
