Not for, but together with the patient has always been the starting point of our work at Q- and C-Support. Already in the strategic multi-year plan (2019) Q-Support expressed the ambition to give patient participation a well-secured place. With the advent of COVID-19, the organization has grown rapidly, as has the number of patients who rely on both organizations. There have been many and drastic changes and all employees have worked hard to meet the first needs in particular.
Now is the time to tackle this topic with renewed energy together and to ensure good security for now and in the future. We cannot, do not want to and do not do this alone. That is why a working group has been set up of people who have been affected by a post-infectious disease such as Q fever or Long Covid. Together we will work on identifying what we consider important when it comes to patient participation and how we can give this a good place within the organization. The working group will meet for the first time at the end of February 2022. We will keep everyone informed of progress via the websites.
