ZonMw has placed a call for grants for research into 'Effective interventions for recovery and aftercare for persistent complaints after COVID-19'. Universities, colleges, hospitals, rehabilitation institutions and research institutions can apply for a grant for research. They collaborate with primary care organizations in the research.
It's about:
- Interventions that involve an interdisciplinary and coordinated treatment approach.
- Interventions that are in line with the Dutch College of General Practitioners (NHG) and Federation of Medical Specialists (FMS) Knowledge Agenda and/or questions from COVID-19 patients (representatives) in the field of recovery and aftercare for patients with persistent complaints after COVID-19 (> 3 months after infection).
- Evaluating and substantiating the effectiveness (with relevant outcome measures) of the use of the specific intervention.
- Research in which COVID-19 patients are actively involved.
